[So Lance's not!Boyfriend is back in town and he's in erratic spiral mode, just barely hanging on mentally. Clearly, this means he doesn't sleep and spends most of his time at night out going to bars and Earworm. And not just at night, during the day as well, if he could afford to do it 24/7 he probably would. But even in these awful circumstances, he has a line he stubbornly won't cross. Shit would have to be colossally bad for him to go completely wild.
And anyway, it's New Year's Eve! He needs to go out and drink and party and have someone to kiss at midnight and all that. Yeah, totally, it's practically illegal not to, right?
So that's why and how he's in the heart of Cellar Door, dressed in nice Trench style clothes, prowling for a good time. It's late in the day but it's not yet dusk, so there's plenty of time to get his party on and he's already had a couple drinks (and pills) before heading out. Because of that, he didn't want to bring friends like Hunk, he's going through something and he knows it.
Then he turns a corner and runs into Sasuke. It's not a full on collusion, so he just takes a couple steps back and his expression flattens a bit when he sees who it is.] Oh. It's you.
