It's not like Kainé can very just agree that Anna should stay with her, and express just how much it already means to her that she's not alone again. Maybe... maybe someday. But this is too new.

Kainé does not pretend to know much, or anything about music. Her grandma taught her some songs when she was young, which she occasionally sings to herself when she's alone. That's easier now that Tyrann is no longer there to mock her in those moments. But that doesn't mean she's comfortable letting another hear.
