.. it's weirdly kind, everything Anna is saying here. But moreover, it's weirdly selflessly kind. It's not like Ange and Ruby being happy in their relationship would really do anything for Anna herself, after all. And it's not even really like Ange can reply by saying she hopes Anna finds someone to be happy with as well, since that might accidentally provoke some bad past memories for other, given everything she was talking about back when she was feeling down.

Ange is too tactful to touch any subject that gets too close to that once more.
