Honestly, it almost feels like a lifetime ago for me, that I went anywhere like this. It wasn't really, but— it seems so long ago.

( She really has missed it. Even if those weights and worries regarding her daughter are still there, she's allowing herself to relax just a little, for one night.

And so she follows the movements of the waltz; it's one of her favourites, the box-like stepping that can seem so simple yet be so elegant and beautiful. Rose moves with him, falling back into the familiar feel of it for a bit before she's coaxing them into grander movements, sweeping across the floor a bit more. Matching the flow of the music doesn't seem to matter so much; she's just enjoying dancing again, and she's sending him a warm, happy smile. )

This is fun, isn't it....! I've missed dancing very much.
