Thanks to Jacob's quick thinking, the creature doesn't get far before the bucket comes slamming on top of it. The creature does not seem to take that well and appears to be a bit dazed. Though it does not have eyes, it seems to recognize that Jacob is the aggressor and was about to attack him -- were it not for another panicked slam on top of it.

For her part, Nil's eyes focus on the creature, shooting another jolt of psychic energy. It screeches, that blast hitting far stronger than the previous, and doesn't seem to be doing too well.
