"No? My scales are pretty healthy. They stay in place. Also I've been in human form when I've been sleeping, but even in my natural form I haven't had any issues with my scales. Cutting my hair should be fine. I haven't noticed any feeling in it when I'm in human form, and I really don't have that much feeling in my hair fins in my natural form, anyway. They're not like my other fins."
