[Sayo's caught between the impulse to snatch the soul crystal right out of Alisaie's hands and act like a normal, not-crazy person and take it gently. Thankfully for both of them, she settles on the latter, and cradles it in her hands with innocent wonder playing across her face.]

Now, how should I... [she murmurs, staring deep within the red stone's depths. If she was going to try and apply her model of magic to real, true magecraft... then she might as well start with the old incantation. Warm nostalgia billows in her chest as she recalls it.] Come, come... try to remember. What form did you have? Surely it was a beautiful form...

[There's a soft, melodic quality to her voice that really makes it sound as if she's reciting an incantation. Then-

Something inside the crystal glows, and Sayo knows. She can feel the memories being teased out of the crystal and pouring into her. Tentatively, Sayo extends a hand toward the training dummy. Her face screws up in concentration as red sparks slowly gather around her fingers, crackling and entwining.

A jolt of magical energy flies from Sayo's outstretched hand after several seconds, making a weak impact on the training dummy. Not exactly a stunning first showing, but Sayo's eyes glimmer regardless.] H- Ha- Haha... I did it! [She pumps her fist and twirls with childlike delight, face split in half with a carefree grin.] I really, really did it! Oh my gosh, thank you so, so much, Alisaie!
