"I don't shrug off bonds," Luz said, "but I have a feeling you might have some stuff that might be better kept to yourself. Besides, I can always ask for you, right?"

Luz had already talked with Fern about possibly having a Bond, and he thought it wasn't a good idea because of his OWN darkness. Luz was fairly certain Wesker might be elusive about his goings on back home for this very reason.

"That is a good thing. I wanted to help Varian myself, but there were plenty of people who managed to jump on that chance. I would have felt bad about it, but I did at least manage to get people to head off the hunters that would have otherwise hurt or killed him. But Varian is way more loved around here than he lets on, so he should be grateful."

Luz brought him downstairs to the kitchen, quick to maneuver around one of Fern's traps.

"If you ever come to visit, be careful though. Reaper keeps an eye out in case someone's trying to hurt us."

Luz may have sounded a little proud at mentioning that.
