[ jinx stays hypervigilant during the walk. she doesn't say anything, but tense body language and sharp looks thrown right back at anyone who so dares look at her make it clear she's still teetering dangerously close to trigger happy. when she lets her guard down, something is bound to happen and in this world, jinx has every intention of meeting that something with a rocket launcher to the face.
except nothing actually happens, and somehow it throws jinx off even further. the streets get less and less populated, the background noise all but completely dropping off until it really is just her and vi walking hand in hand into a broken down hovel of a house.
if anything about the place bothers her, it doesn't show. the place is worn down, full of creaking floorboards and skittering insects but for now they're alone. whether that means they're safe is another story entirely, but something about the bleak, abandoned atmosphere reminds jinx a little of the way zaun used to be before shimmer lit up the whole undercity.
