[Sayo has seen herself reflected in so many people since she's come to Trench. There was all too much of her pain in Ange's eyes, every time she had a quiet moment with Kaworu and felt camaraderie in the inescapable feeling of orbiting humanity instead of being part of it, black tea enjoyed with a fellow monster in Chara...
...but this is the first time she's seen someone else with the wild-eyed glee she'd felt when she'd fallen to Nephele or caught a glimpse of the tearoom, the release in finally grasping for control of the world even if you crushed it in your grip after so long being ground under its heel.
It's exhilarating, finally being able to share that with someone else.
And she's definitely not letting go of Jinx's hand. (The last time she was seen, truly seen on her own world, she would've given anything for him to never let go.)]
My poison of choice is usually absinthe. Old man had way too much of the stuff, I practically had to drink it just to get it out of my sight, and I guess I got a taste for it along the way. Funny how that works.
