( Peter continues to follow, even as the jungle grows thicker, making it harder to move forwards. He's stepping around knots of leaves and vines, tired. Tired mentally, and physically, but his body's still in a certain anxiety due to being in Maul's presence, and it keeps Peter alert. Every sound has him looking up and around, eyes wide.
When Maul uses his weird futuristic glowy sword thing to clear a path, Peter winces and keeps safely back several feet from that thing, wary of it. It's not hard to imagine what it could do to human flesh. But he still follows, moving along behind the sith lord in the path he's cleared.
....The words are uncomfortable. Because Maul says things that do make sense, and are relevant to Peter's situation, but he doesn't want them to be. He doesn't want to listen to anything this guy says.
That anger grows, not loud and aggressive but quietly. Like water boiling slowly. Peter's quiet for a long few moments, not addressing the main point to anything Maul just said, just the very first part of it. )
