Since the dream was the collapsing I don't expect it to be anything like it was in it's prime. But even during he months that the layers were being destroyed it didn't pull any punches on us.

Things like when hotel fell apart and was a weird shell of it's former self- Or like when the town dropped down into wasteland near the end. But less like western themed. Those seem to match up closest with what we have here. That's what I'd bet on.
