Ford knows better than to try to force someone who's panicking to hold still, but Dipper's current flailing state is pretty untenable. So he does the next best thing and hauls Dipper upright, setting him down firmly on his own two feet.

"Dipper, focus." Ford has seen enough in Trench - and enough of Dipper in Trench - to recognize that this degree of panic when there's apparently nothing wrong in the immediate area probably has something to do with his Paleblood powers. That's good for them, but only if Dipper calms down enough to relay what he's managed to gather. "If Mabel is in trouble then we'll help her - but I need you to tell me what know first so we can find her, alright?"
