Rather than looking sideways at Luz, Chizuru is looking ahead. As if she can see something out there in the abyss rather than just darkness - perhaps just her memories being replayed right in front of her eyes. The image of the man getting killed is still burned right into her eyelids, after all.
(She definitely lets Luz hold her hand though.. or rather, it's just that Chizuru doesn't seem to resist it when the other grabs it, passively letting her hold it.)
"Yamazaki-san, too. If I wasn't there.. then people wouldn't nearly be suffering as much." It's definitely more extreme than she'd ever admit to out loud, but there's no doubt that the thoughts linger in the deepest of her heart.
