That made little sense to him, but this was probably his first time encountering the term ‘lesser gods’. Those with power were valued as something more, but he couldn’t say that any of them had ventured towards ‘god’ status. There were legends of great warriors who had gone on to dine with the Fanged God, but as he had aged, he had become skeptical of such stories.

Her description had him continuing to wear the perplexed expression on his face. “Why do your world need a god to travel or to be beautiful or even be lucky? Don’t you just travel because it is necessary and aren’t you beautiful by the standards of your people. Luck well… I suppose.” That seemed very backwards.
