It was far more complicated than that. At least, on the surface. But at the very core of it, every choice she'd made in her life, she'd made because of the Red Dragon. And her determination not to let him get away with the horrors he'd accomplished.
Evil couldn't be allowed to 'win.'
Not that life was made for winning and losing.
