And the opposite of Midoriya, he responds to Paul's question without fluster. Sleep sounds nice but the appeal was returning to that warm comfortable place with both of them. It doesn't seem right to go without everyone. "No. We'll wait for you. And I don't need to be kept awake. I can stay awake."
With great effort, he heaves himself into a standing position and goes over to where Paul is gathering the dishes in the sink and just slumps, completely against Paul's back as if his intent is to sleep standing up. This is probably not the first time that he's done this.
"And Izuku-kun will keep me awake." He paws at the air, as though expecting Midoriya to come to his side at command.
