But the thing I always see when it becomes corrupt enough... it's the soul. Every beast seems to have one, and they all appear to be humanoid. Or, at least they once were. [ You'd think he'd see ones that had animal souls otherwise, or more where he couldn't see any soul at all if that was how his eye worked. The only time he didn't see a soul... they were still fully "human" if insane or, as far as he could tell, just a pure monster born of the world. ]
Maybe there's something different in the soul itself.
