first: someone is yelling, and 'nade doesn't register so much as 'get down' does.
second: something has come through with the tink of metal and oh, grenade. yes, a nasty looking one at that.
third: even on his best days viktor's range of movement is not excellent. he's managed to make himself a new knee brace that helps, but the crutch very much isn't for show or a twisted ankle, and he has a moment of cold dread that all he can really do is get down.
so he does, heart beating heavy in his throat. his omen senses the danger and pops up to cover him, trying to whack at the grenade with her tail to at least skid it away. it's all happening so fast viktor can only think to cover his head and hope this will somehow work out without anyone losing a limb, himself very much included.]
