Corruption at a rapid rate, as far as I'm aware. I dug up some historical accounts months ago, when I was camping out in the Archives — the fastest way to learn about darkblood besides pricking a finger every morning and hoping for the best. The Sixth doesn't have an ocean; I don't know if anything lives in the ice caps outside the Library, but I doubt it. The rest of the planet is a wasteland; I'd never seen any kind of ocean before I was on the First.
