[Alright. They're getting somewhere. Palamedes finally deems it safe to put his arms down, and puts a hand on V's shoulder as he does to nudge him insistently to turn around. They're going That Way, away from the butterfly, and then he'll navigate elsewhere properly.]

You're lucky — the bestiary suggests corruption can strike from those things in a manner of minutes. Have you felt anything corrupt yet? It's basically inevitable, but if you know what you're doing, it's manageable.
