Her eyes lit up a little, surprised and delighted. "You're right! He really isn't that bad. It's all just a matter of understanding that he comes from a very different culture, with very different values."

And if she didn't like those values? Well, she was working in her quiet way to start teaching the Nightbrothers some of her own.
