[Because Keith was aware of the fact that he'd been in Deerington. Not here in Trench, but, despite Lance saying that he'd been "reset", and not having the memories of his time there, he knew it had happened. He had no reason not to believe Lance... or Shiro, for that matter. They'd both said it.

Though, the name "Keith" wasn't exactly uncommon among English speaking humans...]
