Well, Luz had a feeling this was coming. Luna had been generous there, or at least her corrupted self had seemed to be. Still, Luz knew that Luna, REAL Luna, was not going to feel good knowing all of the trouble she caused, so Luz knew she had to at least try to talk her out of this.

Then the spell comes and Luz reflexively used Eda's staff to push back. It was a modification of the barrier spell, which was still slow going, but at least countering with a push with magic was easier than creating a stable barrier that stayed on.

Of course, now she was pretty sure they would get into IT. Luz was making it very clear she didn't want Luna to continue hurting people.
