She'd never heard it was possible. She'd seen the deer around on the network and assumed it was from a planetful of deer. Or even a deer from this place, it certainly seemed to know and love its deer. It reminded her uncomfortably of people who'd hunt deer, have their heads mounted to their personal study's wall.
But maybe deer weren't for the hunting, despite the antler sets she'd seen above doors. But giant wolfhounds were for hunting. Or being hunted. She didn't want to do the former and was terrified of the latter.
