It was easy enough to fall under the sway of what was happening here. In Ruby's heart of hearts all she would really want is for the chance to be with and be happy with the people she had loved and lost along with those that still remained. Seeing the people Break and Ange cared for in their life did mean the world to her. But there was a tug at her heart each time she saw her mother, each time that she saw Raven with Yang in a way that didn't match the memories lingering in her heart.

It wasn't right and at her core she knew that. ...And as much as she wanted that to be different, part of what shaped her into who she was today was experiencing the loss and grief of those people. She... Was very aware of what not accepting that could do to a person.

But... She plays the part as best she can throughout this. Enjoys the party and takes in the what can be gained here. If they're going to keep these memories she'd rather them be happy.

It's not until she hears that murmur from Break that she finally let's her guard down a little more. The bright smile fades a little and her mismatched eyes droop down. She gives him a little nudge with her elbow.
