[ at 8pm on one late friday night, willard will receive a message in his personal inbox. it bears no signature or identifying marks, though it's hardly a secret who'd have sent it.
it reads, in its entirety: ]
To one Willard H. Wright:
You are cordially invited to the Witch of Certainty's domain for refreshments and light entertainment, within the Boardwalk tomorrow at 2pm. Please take care to dress accordingly. It simply wouldn't do to be seen with disappointing company.
[ and sure enough, its sender will be waiting at the boardwalk the next day - though her own dress is hardly as formal as the note might have implied. still, given the frequency with which these notes have come, it might be less of a surprise than expected for poor will.
when satoko sees him, she turns and waves - full-body, trying to get his attention. ]
