The dragons were all gone by that time, though. Aemon was called the Dragonknight because it was his sigil. I think the only dragonrider to earn his knighthood was poor Ser Addam, who mounted Seasmoke in the Dance. [she doesn't know if the other dragonseeds counted.] But house Velaryon's sigil...
