[ now, amaterasu knows sitting all the way up here the entire time is no fun, cheating and unfair for the poor pups down below. she would know! it's hard to climb trees! but, not when you're a cat. with such natural and graceful sway, she stands and begins to catwalk effortlessly on the branch, in the direction of its gradually thinning, bending end.
oh, but amaterasu was never summoned as a cat, never lived as a cat! there are no statues of the lesser goddess she borrows this form from, so there is nothing actually keeping her stuck to this tree apart from an inclination and heightened awareness to balance. one that she, unfortunately, oversteps somewhere. the feline's paw slips downwards, off the branch, and off rolls her body with the momentum. she tries, though! she tries her best to hook flexible paws back onto the branch and grab with her hind legs, but it's not deeply flexed enough.
luckily, this divine kitty is already twisting her body to fall on her paws, but, ah— is the sun coming toward them? at an alarming rate? ah, god has become a cat-shaped meteor. oh lawd, she comin'. instead of an eager woof! to announce her descent, she nya!s. ]
