[ it turns out that watching an unstable horse trying to remain steady is terrifying. they're large, and the fall in turn feels all the more larger when it happens. luckily for them, amaterasu doesn't fall (yet), but she does stumble to much to one side, then planting in place to hover and station her weight— then she takes her first real step. so far, so good, but god does it look like she could go too far and take a nasty fall at any moment. ]
