[The muted grumble is just an extension of the play, now that Kaworu has named his behavior for what it is. He would take childish as an insult from anyone else, no matter how accurate it might be, but with Kaworu - with Kaworu, a lot of things are different.]

It would be less cruel if you keep doing that.
