[She really is babysitting a bunch of manchildren... At least they're both adorable.

Ochako just sighs softly to herself and does her own bit of investigation. Mostly it's things you'd assume to be in a treasure trove like this - gold coins, luxurious fabrics and tapestries, chests filled with books and scrolls, jewels... Though Ochako does pluck a few of the gems and jewels from the bunch and pockets them for use as trade goods, she comes across something that instantly catches her eye. Something a bit more...familiar.

It's next to a gun, which is the first thing that drew her attention, because of how modern the weapon was beside everything else, and then a small, sleek, silver case next to it. Making sure there was nothing to set off any sorts of traps, Ochako picks up the little box and pops it open easily, and she sucks in a breath through her teeth when she sees what's inside. They're like very small darts, easily able to be loaded into the gun and fired, with a blood-red liquid inside. Just three funtioning darts, the rest in the case were smashed, but she fumbles with the case and closes it right away. H-Holy shit...]

Shoyo-kun, are you, um...a-are you okay over there?

[Ochako doesn't dare take those. Considering what they are, how could she? Made from the blood and tissue of a defenseless, tortured child...her own DNA and quirk spliced and weaponized to become a quirk erasing bullet.]

[ shoyo has absolutely no idea what's going on over there. beyond egg having found something pretty cool looking, prompting him to look more for something equally neat, if not better. there're blood stones of all kinds, but what really catches his eye is a beautiful pearl of paleblood. snatching that, thank you! ]

Uh-huh! Found some cool rocks. [ he looks over with a smile, mostly calm after the chase they've gone through, and given enough time to recharge from his upset stomach— he was feeling better. shoyo was perceptive, though. he begins making his way over, while egg is trying to fit the vest onto him. ] Looks like you saw a spider. Everything okay?

[ i mean. spiders spook him too, he'd totally agree to that. ]

[Ochako looks up with a weak half smile when Shoyo and Egg start to come over, still sort of at war with herself over what to even do with what she found. These darts are so, so dangerous to people from her world...literally taking away the innate power that makes them them. A part of her says they'd be best kept by her and her friends, to keep out of anyone else's hands, but her conscience argues that'd be just as dangerous...because with any kind of Corruption, they could still be used somehow.

It takes a while, and a hard swallow.]

I, um...I-I found something too, fr-from my world, but. Um... [She takes a deep breath, then plucks out one of the small darts to hold up very carefully.] It's...a weapon. A really, really dangerous one. This can completely erase a person's quirk if they're struck and injected with it.

It's...reversible, but not in Trench. The only one who can cure it is the one it's created from, who's not here. [And Ochako prays that little Eri NEVER sets foot on the sandy shores if this world.] It'd be great to use against villains, huh? Take away their crazy powers with one shot...

[Ochako pauses, holds the dart for a long, long time, eerily silent...]

N' no one's ever gonna know they existed here.

[And Ochako hurls the dart down onto the ground as hard as she can, then smashes it with the heel of her boot. The other to are given the same treatment swiftly after the first. It's almost scary how she grinds the glass and thin metal into the dirt and gravel with the metal heel, looking absolutely furious as she does so.

How much suffering did a single, little girl have to go through just to create one of those shitty bullets? How long did she have to endure being torn apart and rearranged for the sake of something so sinister?!]

[ with both shoyo and egg closer to see, he listens carefully and feels a lump in his chest. maybe a drop? it was a dangerous feeling after she revealed the firearm and darts. "quirks" were abilities‐ and how fucked up was it to take away something you've always had? it's like losing all the athletic ability and volleyball skill he's built until now because of some reverse poison. imagine. the choice the girl takes brings brief surprise to shoyo and egg, but only briefly.

because how would he not support this aspiring hero he is a fan of—?! supportive of her decision and her firmness in the idea that they're too dangerous to exist, he cheers her on. egg, halfway into a vest, throws his wings up to accompany. ]

Go, Ochako, go! You wreck those darts!!

[ FLEX YOUR GIRLBOSS BOOTS. ]

[That's it exactly. Losing one's quirk is like losing a limb...and in the case of someone like Tokoyami and Dark Shadow, a partner...or even a brother. A quirk can be anything, after all, and manifest in a whole slew of different ways. Besides, using something that was literally harvested from a tormented little girl, just so things can be made easier...'safer' for other people. It feels dirty.

So after smashing the darts to bits, Ochako looks up and actually sort of blinks, staring at Shoyo and then turning bright, bright red. O-Oh...she, um. She sort of got a bad case of tunnel vision there for a second, and forgot he was actually watching. It's a little embarrassing, and she brushes off the praise with a tiny wave of her hand. Oh gosh, that's right, she...she has a fan now. Ochako is, technically, on duty as Uravity. And Shoyo...is her first real fan. Ah.

C-Cute...but also a little weird? Weirdly cute. Yeah.]

Oh, eh...ehehe! I-It was nothing, um...I-I just. [She takes a deep breath.] Those things are nothing but awful. From the moment they were even thought up...they've cause nothing but suffering. But...I don't wanna think about it now. It's not important anymore. Um--...sh-show me your cool rocks instead!!

[CONCEAL, DON'T FEEL, DON'T LET HIM KNOOOW...]

[ shōyō’s mouth opens up to dish out a question, but . . . he immediately snaps his lips together when she says what she feels about it. i don’t want to think about it now. show interested and curious, shōyō’s expression softens into quick understanding and respecting the boundaries placed.

he could ask another day, and right now switches from greatest first fan to small uncle. ]

Take a look at ‘em. [ paleblood stones make beautiful jewelry, so this set was exceptionally eye catching! there’s a single darkblood and coldblood in the middle of them. shōyō rolls them in his hands before cupping them over ochako’s. ] I heard you can stick them onto weapons, to make them stronger. I had a blade with Coldblood on it, once.

[Shoyo is a gift. Even if Ochako is a literal superhero (in training!!!), she's still very much a very young girl - just sixteen years old and still growing. The sorts of tragedies she's seen, and experienced firsthand...it'd be enough to make a therapist faint, probably. So she appreciates the hard left back into something more sunny to talk about.]

Uwaah...so pretty. One of my friends has an earring. [She points to one of her ears, tugging lightly at the lobe.] Made from his paleblood. It's really, really pretty...I think it enhances the abilities he was given in this world, too.

Mmh, it reminds me of an RPG...where you wear armor and jewelry that enhances your stats. Kinda cool... [Though Ochako only ever played an MMO once, and it was using Kaminari's account when they all (meaning Kaminari, Mina, and Kirishima) finished studying for a math exam...which she was especially good at and had to tutor them in...because Bakugou was out at the time.]

[ and shoyo can at least remember that . . . he's actually twenty-five! and even if ochako has been taking care of him a whole deal, he's the real uncle around these parts. in fact—

there's something about the mannerisms right there that makes shoyo smile, and encourages him to continue. ]

Even Egg's found some! [ look at that bling! shoyo makes sure to drop the stones into ochako's hands counting she'd want a better look, all while he helps egg with his vest. with the mood calmer and less competitive, egg offers the smaller trinket to shoyo. ] —Thanks, bud. Don't you wanna take some, Ochako? What bloodtype are you?

[Shoyo is a good brother-uncle-friend, definitely. Ochako never had a sibling, so she has to assume this is kind of what it's like, right? Or at least a cousin, though all hers are way, way older...or extremely young, and live far away in the countryside or other large cities in Japan.

Going through her own pockets, what she's picked up, Ochako holds out a few gems herself - nothing super extravagant, most of them aren't even cut stone except maybe one - and shows them off to the two.]

I found some rough stones, too!! I really hope this can get me some good stuff to trade in the futu--eh? Oh, um, I'm warmblood from what I remember. N-Nothing too special or anything, ehehe...

[ shōyō’s settles an encouraging pat on her shoulder. ]

That just means we get to shine because of what we always were. No extras. Just straight up building on top of our best.

[Shoyo, you are too good. Ochako beams, her grin wide and bright, and nods her head with an affirming little hum. He's completely right. Her quirk is god enough, she doesn't need any additional things to help her feel special. Besides, she said it herself once already...there's no such thing as a special person, just special powers. On the inside, no one if any different from anyone else.]

That's exactly right. Ehehe, you know, Shoyo-kun...you're really pretty wise sometimes. [Sometimes.] Ne, lets fill our pockets and start to head back. I, um...th-think it may take a bit longer, since we couldn't really map anything but...we'll find our way!! Plus Ultra!
