Early June
[Minako had a lot going on. She had a wedding to plan for and choices to make for that as well as prepare for her concert. That was adding to planning for Usagi's birthday as well as dealing with whatever this month decides to throw at her.

But she was happy to do all of those things for those that she loves and cares about. So the first job she was set about doing was birthday arrangements. She clearly wanted to get as much of that done as she could before the end of the month. So the first thing she had done was make an announcement about it. That was super important. The second thing was to actually go about making plans with what she wanted.

So she was running around place to place buying a few things here and there. She wasn't even paying that much attention to where she was going because she was so focused.]

Alright, so food would of course already be sorted. I can provide the entertainment an I got a few items for decoration... What else do I need to get...

Baking up a storm
[It seemed like this month for Palebloods was the urge to bake with the fruits that were about. For Minako this was both a blessing and a curse. A blessing because it means she could finally try and actually bake instead of other going to someone else's to eat or just getting already made food from places. So M Minako had gone about getting everything that she needed in order to try and bake with the blueberries she wanted to try.

But after the first attempt smoke was seeping out from her windows and even the front door. Within seconds of the smoke appearing the front door gets kicked in with Minako making her escape out of her place, coughing slightly.]

Okay so...turning up the heat doesn't make it cook faster. Well it does but it means less time in the oven.

A Nightmare dressed like a nightmare
[Minako's nightmare where always the same thing. Seeing those she loves laying dead at her feet, her being helpless to save them. She hated it, but it had slowly been getting more and more common as time went on. More so this month.

Because of them Minako always felt awful when she awoke, yawning as she tried to work on her music, spending tome with her friends or fiancee. She just felt awkful and it showed.]

[She smiled as she slowly rose to a seated position, letting the cloth of the blanket slip down and leaning on her elbow, looking over at Minako.]

That's the spirit. We can have a bit of fun with it. It'll be a chance to try something new!

[Perhaps a dilemma, but she'd enjoy whatever they did together.]

[How well will things go? Minako didn't actually have an idea really. But she needed to do something and needed to keep her mind focused on something that wasn't the dream or at least nightmare.]

I guess... We'll see how it goes.

[Minako was taking her time moving to get out of bed, grabbing what she needed to.]

[Vira-Lorr stretched and let out a luxurious little sigh, idly watching her fiance. Both of them wanted to get these thoughts out of their head, and focusing on the other was an easy way to do it. Seeing her there took her to a happier place, to the fact that she was sharing her life with someone, that she was planning to share it forever. It made her smile a little.

Eventually? She got around to gathering a light dress that would serve well, slipping into some fresh clothes and looking over her shoulder.]

Do you need a shower first?

I should be fine.

[She slowly moved to pick up her clothing at the edge of the bed before getting out to start changing, slipping it on like ease.]

Just want to do the fun aspects of things now and then maybe shower after.

[Vira-Lorr finished dressing and started down the steps from the balcony to the first floor, grinning back and up at her, winking. Hey, she was all in favor of getting to the fun.]

Oh, we're going to definitely have a little bit of fun. What do you say to something baked? I feel like baking today!

Baking is fine. As you know I have been trying to improve and also...the urge to just bake always being there currently.

[Which was both a blessing and a curse at the same time really. But she soon followed the other.]

What did you have in mind anyway?

The nice thing is that you can take your time with all of the ingredients and not be in a rush. Once they're inside, you get to have a little of the dough and just watch it cook.

[She tapped at her lips and considered that for a moment.]

So, I actually have some fruit. What would you say if we tried our hands at making a cobbler? That would actually taste really good with breakfast.

But if I have a lot to do all I think about is rushing it. Plus I can get impatient in general.

[So much to do and so little time in which to do it in.]

We can try that, but you'd need to tell me how to actually do it.

[She laughed a little while she started to get the ingredients out, motioning towards the fridge.]

Why don't you bring out the peaches and I'll get the flour ready? We can start there, and I'll teach you a little patience. It's not such a bad thing to wait, if it's going to be delicious enough, yes?

[Minako nodded as she went to grab what she had been asked.]

But I'm a eat now kinda gal. So it makes it hard to have such patience when it comes to delicious food.

[She laughed and smiled over at her, winking while she started to sift the flower and get the dough ingredients properly arranged, showing them off to her one at a time.]

That's why we make sure there's enough fruit for more than the cobbler. It lets us try a little while the rest is cooking. A win win, wouldn't you say?

But then aren't you just eating the fruit and not it as a whole?

[Minako's eyes look over what still needs to be done, making sure she at least tries her best. Since there was the other with her made it much harder at least to not mess it up.]

Well, yes. [She giggled some as she started to show her one step at a time. Sifting out the ingredients and making sure there was a good mix.]

But think of it as a little taste once it's cooking. We really just have to resist the urge to pull it out of the oven too soon. Want it to finish.

See that I get, but sometimes you wanna eat the batter that didn't make it as well.

[Cookie batter is just nice when one can have it. Sometimes don't even make cookies just make the batter.]

Oh! Well yes the batter is quite a treat isn't it? What do you say we make sure to make some extra of that too so we don't have to skip both treats?

[Hey, she was all for a little indulgence right about now.]

I guess we can do that.

[Considering the nightmares and all she could go for it too as she paused checking just how much ingredients they had.]

Just making sure it wouldn't be too much though.

[She started to sift out the flour and winked over at Minako with a wicked little grin. She definitely wasn't as worried about that tonight, not after the dreams that they'd just had.]

If we make too much we just store a bit and bring it to our friends, mmmm? Either way, we win.

We can do that, see what they think.

[She made sure to help with when she was able, mostly watching to get a better understanding of wat ti was she was meant to be doing.]

One day I will bake something that everyone will enjoy.

Oh trust me. You'll absolutely do it. We can write some recipes down so that you can practice too. Practice not only makes perfect, but it's often delicious.

[Except those times you almost burn the house down, but she didn't mention the ones that involved her. Nope! Not tonight.]
