[The feed may fill with red and white sparks before resolving into a view of a dingy hallway, grimed walls and a door with a knob about to fall off. Someone's hand in black leather tactical half-gloves moves into view, examining the knob. The hand moves out of view, then returns with a multitool and sets to work, replacing the screws, tightening them, testing the knob again. He opens the door, testing it again, pulls on it. He steps back to survey his work, making a satisfied "hmm!". Then suddenly, the view shifts, turning sidewise to the wall before glancing down as he grips the knob in both hands, his black combat shoe-clad feet braced on the doorpost as he tugs on it before dropping to the floor feet first.]

That should hold.

[Something moans in the near distance, not just the guttural moan of a zombie, but almost as if it's trying to vocalize through ruined vocal cords. His hand comes up again, a pocket-sized notepad and pencil in hand, quickly scribbling a message on it before he tears off the slip of paper and folds it to slip it between the door leaf and the door post.]

Use this to protect yourself from that monster in chains that can't be hurt by guns. I also fixed the doorknob to make sure you can get away.

May 8th - Bausphomette Encounter

[The feed clicks on, showing a view of the roof of Arklay House, Wesker sitting quietly in the pale pink moonlight, an incense burner at his side.

[Then, in the next moment, another figure, massive by comparison and covered in black fur, simply manifests, as if they had sat there unseen all this time. Wesker looks up and shifts slightly, giving the newcomer some space. The Pthumerian seems unfazed by this, shifting as if they just looked down at him.]

And you grace me with your presence? Some would say I don't deserve your patronage, that I only deserve the Reckoning.

But there is... or was a young boy who would have wanted your protection. Who needed your aegis. And so when the ones who captured him set to reshaping his mind, his body, his soul if he still has one into weapons, he embraced it.

...That he might never be vulnerable again. [He bows his head.]

[Then Bausphomette reaches down a massive hand, placing it on his shoulder.]
