[and her omen stretches down and in and pads back to her with the cutlets in her teeth, rises on hind legs to gingerly place the them in vi's bag, using both muzzle and front legs before winding around and behind vi's legs, making a small almost-bow to the two new acquaintances. she nudges the back of vi's knee as the rest of the message is writ large:]
I don't see why not.
[she steps forward just enough that she might be more visible - and fang moves again - shines her eyes upward on vi's face so that she might be more clearly seen. the young woman manages a small smile. it's a bit awkward, but it's genuine.]

[she's backing up slowly, turning back to offer a last smile and stopping herself from saying sit tight ...because really? it doesn't seem likely falco is going to try going anywhere.]

[a few hours later she'll return with a whole cart of food. (fish! probably blueberries!) and company.]
