it's that sudden voice that pulls his attention to the side and dabi quirks a brow when the shadows spill away from a familiar sight. same school-girl outfit, as if innocence is walking from the alley. and yet the bloodsplatters all over those clothes and her grinning face catching in the reflection of that long wicked knife-- oh wait, she doesn't have it. huh, probably hidden up her sleeve somewhere. literally. nothing like blood and innocence to scream "toga himiko" to the world. he wonders if she ever found the rest of her gear...
ah well. dabi turns towards the bird-like flapping arms. ya got his attention.]
Goin shoppin. [pats the duffel bag at his side. smart ass.] You?

[Clamping both hands behind her, fingers entwine, while blushing. Dabi knows her. Her knife is somewhere on her.]
Was. [She quickly confess with a satisfy grin.] They... checked out early for the night. [Early retirement or rest, whoops. She's pretty sure he can put two and two together. She looks pass Dabi to the blazing flames from his wake. That fire of his never cease to amaze her, and a good reminder he can roast anyone at any given time. After a good glance, her gaze returns him.]
And, I'm bored again.
[As she exhales a long sigh. Take her out asshole.]

[or perhaps the remains of many dates. who knows with her. leaving the middle of the street behind, he walks towards her, joining his ally on the sidewalk for the time being.]
Figures. [bored already. her bloodlust has such a quick fall after enjoying the high. afterglow must suck for her. dabi tilts his head in invitation as he starts walking down the street, aiming for a store further past the building they're beside.]
Ya know this ain't how most people act here. It's only gonna last for a week or two.

[That's like saying-- Never mind! It's embarrassing, thanks Dabi. She's still smiling, flushing, and her bloodlust isn't on cooldown yet.
She skips by his side, hands swaying on both sides, opposite yet in rhythm. At the moment, Dabi's been in this world for quite some time meaning... he owns the info. Himiko's job, collect much information as possible about this world and the people.]
Oh really~? [She's been wondering about that. Yes, it's been a great ride for her, blending with the chaos. Peering around, studying some people, some she didn't expect to pass as that.] What happens after week two?
[Do some of these people return to their normality? Do they remain as they are now? Or... reflect themselves? She is genially curious.]

[in such a way that more or less repeats his comment's insinuation. totally what inference he was saying. she just decided to take it that way without his being literal about it. sides, doesn't look like himiko's got much a problem with it.
mah, he's been here for a few months, but usually doesn't muck in with the more common community of sleepers. lone wolf with trust issues and a wary nature. he's content to live off random encounters and the occasional stalking on the network to gather some information off people who don't know how to make shit private. also doesn't mean he'll part with information readily...]
Whatever it is that's affectin everyone'll pass. Ya ain't gonna see "good" people robbin stores and burnin down the town like they are now. It'll go back to "normal" and everyone ends up pickin up the pieces.
[yeah, it most certainly "poofs" back to the previous status quo, though with the damages to both world and person remaining to contend with. dabi's far more interested in those who see themselves as "heroes" in this world having to deal with the destruction and pain they caused while under the influence. it's one reason he's pretty damn glad his recording device came with him into this world. he just needs to find a computer to start dumping shit into...]
Then ya brace for the next wave of new arrivals at the start of the month and eventually another "event" to fuck things over soon after. Rinse and repeat. Try not to die in the process.
