So, a serene looking tiger, and pink roses.

[vi looks makoto over, stopping to linger on the jewelry, thinks a moment.] I could probably match the roses to the ones you're wearing, if that's something you want.

How big are we talking? [she'd said private, so perhaps a backpiece? no, that's out because she'd also said she wanted to be able to look at it.] As far as private, well, your torso's an option, or maybe somewhere on your leg? What kind of clothes do you usually wear? [that will dictate what shows on a regular basis, of course.]

[Makoto nodded at the confirmation of a serene tiger and roses.]

If you could that would be great. And I was thinking about the size of my hand.

[She didn't want it to be too big for her first tattoo. As for the clothes she regularly wore, it hadn't really changed all that much between home and trench; with the exception that she didn't have a school uniform.]

Mainly dresses, but jeans and a crop top occasionally. A lot of shirts are too short or wind up being too big. Somewhere on the leg sounds good, maybe the thigh? Would that be alright?

[vi pauses, pats her own upper thigh.] Maybe here? Whichever leg you want. That should be enough space, yeah. It's all right with me if it's all right with you.

I'm gonna need some time draw it up, though. Make sure it's exactly what you want before you commit.

And [she leans in a little] if you've got a problem with stuff not fitting, you should see Sansa Stark at the Rookery. I'm not saying that just because I live there. She's good. Great, really.

[Makoto nods. Putting her hand in a similar spot and thinking about it for a moment, like she was trying to picture it.]

I think that would be good. And I understand, I'd need to know what you'd like in return, to pay for it.

Just let me know how long you'll need.

[This was the first time she had heard about the Rookery though.]

I'll need a couple days at least. I could do it faster, but I've got ...stuff. I can send the sketch to you through the Omni, but sometimes ...with things like this, it might be better to see it in person. Up to you, though.

[there's a pause, and vi continues, nodding to herself. yeah, this seemed fair.]

I was thinking about that, and hear me out: baked goods, besides the samples. Cookies, pies. You decide how many. Maybe a special pie if that's on the menu, so to speak.

I can numb it up if you need that. [points to sign] It's different for everyone. I don't think it hurts at all, really, but that's just me.

It's gonna take a few hours. I can probably do it in [hmmm.] ...I'm gonna say, ten, give or take. [it's not like getting a tattoo in the undercity. they're sleepers. not needing to sleep much and enhanced stamina (even diminished pain capacity) - those things might make it possible in one session with a food break, a bit of stretching - who knows.] Sometimes I have to break it up into two appointments, one to lay down the lines and another for all the shading. We'll play it by ear.

Maybe bring some snacks. [vi will bring food, too. a large container of noodles, which she will share. sadly, it will lack fish.]

So it's a deal? [she'll hold out her hand to shake on it.]

I won't need that, I'm a vileblood and things are kind of numb a lot. But even before I've had a pretty high pain tolerance from martial arts and fights.

[There was a reason the rumors were around and why most of her class was afraid of her when she transferred to a new school. But compared to the attack from some of their enemies, a tattoo needle wasn't something that Makoto was afraid of.]

I'll do that, and bring a few extra. I don't care how long it takes, and appreciate you being willing to do it.

[vi can relate to having a high pain tolerance, but she's curious about something, now. she tables it for the moment.]

Hey, who knows, it could end up just being an all nighter, and I'm game if you are. And why wouldn't I be willing? It's kinda my job.

Oh, I should have introduced myself. I'm Makoto Kino, I run Flour and Bloom and occasionally help with loading and unload ships as well.

[Mainly when she was in the area to pick supplies of her own, it was a good way to save a little bit. She also didn't tack on that she was Sailor Jupiter though there were several that knew that secret by now as well.]

I'm good with doing whatever is easiest for you.

And I should have asked sooner. Or given you mine. It's Vi, by the way. I do this, some other more dangerous stuff, and occasionally pop in to relieve your business of ...a lot of cookies.

[which she drops off sometimes obviously and sometimes a bit stealthily, especially to people that have a habit of not taking the time to actually eat.]

All-nighter it is, then. [half-joking; smiles] I like to live dangerously. [a nod to the above referenced: danger] Shoot a day at me and let's get it done.

[Makoto wound up involved with a lot of that dangerous and adventurous stuff as well, and luckily so far it hadn't been a problem with the other. Jupiter had really only had a few close calls.]

I'd like to do it as soon as we can. So once you have the design ready would be fine with me.
