Obi-wan - backdated to late July
And he is alive. Right now he's still more squid shaped than anything else, but he's been helping Sleepers back into the form they're more comfortable with, for months. He can do this. And then he can go home.
He's not entirely sure if it's minute or hours later than he struggles his way up onto the black beach. He lays there a moment, reveling in the feeling of his breath, grounding in a way that nothing had been as a drifted as spirit.]

it was strained and discordant, but it was awake unlike before when it felt muted and unnatural. obi-wan straightens and lets the song lead him to the beach. his heart felt twisted under his chest, but perhaps soon it will be lightened.
perhaps things will be as they once were. ]

Eventually, a shift in the Force, a familiar warmth, tugs on his attention. He lifts his head, then quickly shifts into more properly sitting, and says, sounding a little surprised-]
You came.
[He hadn't been sure - well, it's a good thing, he thinks, for Obi-wan to be in tune enough with the Force to have sensed him from what the teenager assumes would have been quite a distance.]

[ he manages a smile, holding his hands out for ezra to grasp. ]

I missed you, too.
[That's how he's choosing to interpret Obi-wan's rhetorical question, anyway.]

How do you feel?
no subject
Tired, but in a sort of satisfying way, not the...fading away way I was without a body.
I, uh. I suspect I'm gonna be processing some emotions I couldn't really, um, access for a while.

Make sure you get what you need.

Well, first off, can I borrow your cloak?
And then can we go home? I want tea.

[ obi-wan shrugs off his cloak, handing it to ezra. ]
. . . Let's go home.

Awesome.
[More seriously-]
And how have you been?

I'm glad you're feeling better. But as long I'm here, I'm here for the worse days, too, ok?

And what else have I missed? My poor gardens probably overgrown, huh?

My sense of time is off, clearly. I'm sure if I go over things in the network I can, uh, piece together some sort of timeline.

...but maybe I'll let that wait until tomorrow.

Today I can just...settle back in.

Tea.
[He hasn't forgotten their deal about hugs, either. He's not making a point of it, until they are home, and he's clean and in fresh clothing.
For now, he falls quiet, since he has priorities for the next few steps lined up.]

I'll put the kettle on.

Thank you, Ben.
[Then when they reach the house-]
Be...right back down.
[After a very quick shower with actual hot water and fresh tunics.]
