[She focuses her attention on putting an end to the creature. She channels more and more ice until it stops moving. Then she slowly rises to her feet.]
Sorry, this - really didn't turn out to be a good idea. Let's get out of here.

Why are you —— I should have been more careful. [ She looks to the dead, shadowed creature and sighs, breath coming out in puffs. ] It won't be following us now so it can't have been that bad of an idea, right? Plus [ she adds with a shrug as she looks Scorpia over ] I got to see how badass you were.
I'm not hurt. And you're not hurt, right?
no subject
You do raise some very good points! [She gives a small smile.] Thanks. And no, not hurt at all. That thing didn't get me, and I'm glad it didn't hurt you either. I guess so far, so good? So what do you think, should we move on to somewhere else or try checking out more of this place? [She doesn't see anything around them that looks like a clue, but she could always be mistaken.]

At the question, she takes a moment to look around the room. The second floor was falling in and given the smell, she was pretty sure the floors have rotted. ] I doubt there's any harm in checking it out but... I don't know, this place is just falling apart. You think there could be something in here we could use?
no subject
That's a good question. We can take a little look around just to make sure. The main things we'd be looking for, they'd be supplies? Anything that can help us stay on our feet until we find a way back. It'd be nice to have some reading material about the situation here too, but I doubt anything like that survived this little, uh, cave-in here.
[Scorpia makes her way through the room, shifting through some rubble to see if anything turns up, but nothing useful's turning up.]

I think I found some jarred food. [ She pulls out a handful of mason jars. Some are clearly long past their expiration date, the food, and liquid inside murky and graying, but a few of the jars seem pristine beyond the accumulation of dust upon them. And then she lets out a little laugh of surprise. ] And an upon bottle of wine.
no subject
Oh yeah, some of these look like they're still good... and some look definitely not good, no use for those! [And she laughs as she looks over the wine.] And that we can save for a later time!
[It does seem best no to drink when they're on the run in a dangerous town...]

We need to find some fabric that's not falling apart to create a makeshift bag to carry it all in. It won't do us any good to have our arms full if another monster shows up.

She helps with gathering the good-looking jars and then meets her suggestion with an affirmative nod.]
You're on the ball with this! Right, I'll see what I can find. [Stepping over a broken chair, she starts piecing through some more rubble. A lot of what she can find is deteriorated, torn apart and more mud than fabric. She holds up one particularly gross-looking one while making a disgusted Face, before tossing it to the side.
But eventually, she manages to find one drawer, within which is a shawl that is dirty, but intact.] Ooh, I think we can use this!

She tears through a few other cabinets and hutches. Most everything is falling apart or mold-ridden. Some of it she refuses to touch with her bare hands, even. The moment she hears Scorpia call out a find, she quickly goes to take a look. ]
And here I was starting to worry we'd have to use my undershirt. [ She looks it over and nods approvingly. ] And it's not all moldy! Good find, Scorpia, it's perfect!
[ She takes the shawl and begins to deftly fold and knot it until they have a relatively sturdy drop bag. It's far from perfect and it won't protect the jars from a fall but it'll make carrying everything easier. She lays down the jars into the bag and then nestles the jar of wine. ] I think that's everything we've found. It'd have been nice if the kitchen had a few knives or something but I guess beggars can't be choosers in a place like this.

Thanks! I guess I lucked out. Yeah, no- no need for any shirts to be put to use!
[She watches as Sharon puts the shawl together into the bag, almost like watching a magic trick.]
Nice job! Yeah, I think we're pretty much set for now. At least if we need things cut, my pincers can do the job a lot of the time! [She snips them in demonstration.] Should I carry the bag? Or are you okay with it?

Where do you think we should head next? I'm thinking we should find a place to rest for a little bit, one that's less... [ she looks around ] damaged. Hopefully.
[ and free of any living, or dead, beasts. ]

Scorpia starts to head back towards the door as she ponders her suggestion.]
I do like that idea! Rest is very important and can help us stay on top of our game here. ...It just does feel like it'll be harder to find a good place for it. I feel like most of the places that aren't wrecked might have inhabitants. ...Which could be good, or it could be bad! [It brings them back to, can they find any survivors who aren't part of that cult?] But the only way we'll find out is by searching, so... I think it's definitely worth a try.

Truthfully, Sharon's exhausted. She's been pushing through it, it's easier to ignore when you're uncertain, but it's really starting to hit her. She's been exhausted since Rose left but that panic from earlier has made it all the more pronounced. It's in her joints and her bones. It gets worse thinking about having to deal with other people, good or bad, but they don't have a ton of options. She'd rather avoid staying in a place as crumbling as this one, especially with a body so close. ]
We'll search for a little while and if we don't find some place that's better, we can just settle. I just think I really need a place to rest, even if it's just for, like, an hour.
no subject
I understand. [Considering she's not so tired, Scorpia considers it could be doable for her to stand guard when Sharon rests. It's just a matter of finding a good, safe place to rest.]
We'll get you some rest! Come on now, let's start searching and see what are options are. [She says as she leads the way out of the dilapidated housed.]
