Having someone to look out for, someone she loved made Trench seem both more challenging and more relaxing at the same time. Because she knew that Luz was looking out for her at the same time Lexi was looking out for Luz. "More than the greatest love you'll ever know," indeed.

Their differences complimented one another and their commonalities were exciting. After so long uselessly pining over Rue, Luz was like a breath of fresh air. She could safely say that her crush on Rue was in the past. Luz was her present and she hoped, her future.

"Yeah! Though, the raptors scared me so bad the first time I saw it!"
