OTA - Wheat Bracelet
A large stained glass window pours shards of colorful light onto an old oak table. Streaks of purple and blue combine with lively greens and reds. The projected image is of a raven feeding her young- the golden hues of a nest perched precariously. Teetering just on the edge of the pile of books. A work of art.
A brilliant and intelligent animal for sure. It's an ever so popular decorum of the Gaze and particularly the archaic archives. And what more appropriate then, for the creature to be perched a top of books. Inviting everyone to live on the edge and taste a bit of knowledge.
Sitting at this table is a serious looking young man dressed in all black. Much like the sky filled with gleaming stars in a sea of endless night, his stark profile contrasts yet compliments the waves of vivid colors.
He doesn't seem to notice you. Light green eyes plastered to the novel in his hand. You may notice his grip on the spine of the book is tight. The beautiful leather bound chair he's sitting in looks comfortable, but he's sitting so far up -completely engrossed. The title: The Road .
Looking around all the books seem to do their magical shuffle, so it's hard to tell just what branch of the massive library you're in. There's an open chair that looks quite comfortable next to the quiet boy. Inviting and beckoning you to come take a seat and bask in the warm delightful atmosphere.]

Fushiguro?
[she gives a lightly ironic half-curtsy. lady sits down neatly, ignoring all dirty looks in her direction.]
I hope you're here for Never Mind's prize; I should very much like to know how you spend your days.

Ms. Stark, [eyes glance to the impressive book in her arms.] Find what you're looking for. [His voice is calm and a bit low. Eyes trail to Lady, the corner of his lips rise into a small smile. Acknowledging her presence too.
The question causes him to stiffen and eyes to widen, a bit surprised. A private person, please forgive him he's a bit confused. ]
I come here when I'm not patrolling for beasts. [Eyebrows furrow but release.] I've been stuck in the pocket Trench. [A pause. ] A prize?
[No stranger to the archives or the many scholars, this is one of the only places he feels solace. ]

You were in the other dimension? Did Riteoir's people take you? That's what Never Mind said happened to my friend Vi, my sworn sword. She helps at the Sanctuary, and at the outpost. Did you see her where you were? She has short pink hair, and it says Vi on her cheek.
[she sets the book down in her lap.]
We've been looking for ways to find her––
[she glances down at her book.]
Well, no one here knew anything, so I went looking for books that might tell me anything about my magic from home. So little has been written about Greenseers and greenseer magic; it's been so long since they were commonplace. I have learned that only one in ten children might be born a skinchanger, and only one in a hundred skinchangers might become a greenseer, but my brother Bran told me all six of us could learn to do it.
[she offers him a small, rueful smile.]
Never Mind is giving people bracelets that will clear the blood pollution from a small plot of land, if they get to know someone new. I suppose to that end I should say it is Lady Stark, but I would be glad if you might call me Sansa.

Pink hair and writing on her face. Unfortunately he's positive he would have remembered someone matching that description had he seen her. ]
I've been there twice... those cultists locked me away for a while the second time. [A pause]
She'll need another sleeper to help get her out. There's a ritual that involves two different types of sleeper blood. [ Eyes look away before returning. Almost as if not wanting to reveal unpleasant news.] I haven't seen her, but if I can be of any help let me know. The world is a deranged version of the Trench, so she could have been anywhere, but there are weak points in the dimension. I think that's how sleepers may be dragged in, and I know that's how I got out.
[A beat
Going off solely what he can deduce by the word alone. ] Is that someone who can turn into an animal? [He's not all that familiar with druid lore, but such an ability would be fantastic to see.
Listening to Sansa explain the bracelet he nods in agreement. His memory is extremely sharp and he knows how sensitive names can be.] Sansa [Repeating her name more as a form of apology with a small bow of his head upon hearing the correction.]

I'm sorry that happened to you. It's horrible, to be a prisoner. Still, if there's a way out, Vi will find it.
[she sighs, a rueful curve to her lips.]
I said I'd rescue her from basements, when she swore her sword to me.
[but still, she brightens a little at his question.]
Lady Ammako said it might better be called 'skinsharing.' I suppose my realm isn't very good at naming things––there aren't even Seven Kingdoms, truly. I can show you, though...
[she's already sitting, anyway. sansa briefly stills and her eyes turn white, while lady's glow blue.
she stretches her forelegs towards the boy and dips her head in a bow...
lady's eyes return to brown and she settles into a comfortable posture. sansa's eyes are blue again when she smiles.]
Wolves and dogs are easiest, but I can also do birds and seals. Never Mind helped me with the ravens.

The brief pause and stillness on her face as her eyes glow fantastically-another memory flashes into his mind. Overtaking him. Stiffening slightly as a shred of anxiety creeps in. Nervous.
Breathe. Giving himself the composure to be in the moment. Clarity. There is a clear difference in this body swap then what he's seen in the past. Acceptance, Respect. A mutual agreement with trust- not the abrupt parasitic demonic hijacking possession he's used to.
Mint green eyes soften from a state of uneasiness to a sort of awe. Hes quiet. It takes him a moment to answer.]
That's an incredible skill, and all your siblings can do this too?
[Could this be some genetic ability?]
Do you need to have a bond with the animal?
no subject
Yes, it's very important in the beginning. [she shuts her eyes briefly. lady pads forward to rest her head in sansa's lap. sansa pets her as she speaks, keeping her eyes forward.] When I lost Lady––when she was taken from me, I lost my powers, too. It starts with dreams; my brothers and sisters began to dream they were their wolves long after Lady's death, and I couldn't do it at all until I came here and found her.
[she brings her gaze back to fushiguro.]
I thought it was Paleblood magic. Bran only told me about greenseers when I saw him in Argonaut's portals. That's how I found out my little brothers were alive. Some other children had been killed in their place. I saw my sister too.
[her mouth tugs to one side, ruefully.]
I already gave my bracelet to Trenchwood Farms. I won't ask anything of your life that you might not like to tell me, but I'd be very glad to listen to anything that you would like to share.
Re: OTA - Wheat Bracelet
Is this seat taken?
[ He asks while extending an arm towards the leather chair. ]
no subject
It's open. [ Head nods towards the seat. The entire interaction is very much like when a stranger asks to sit next to you on a bus filled with empty seats.
Akward and a bit strange. This place is huge, but he doesn't think much more of it. Returning his focus to the book.]
no subject
Thank you.
[ He sits down. The old man sees how intently the other is reading the book. Must be good. He thinks. Though the old man doesn't take to books as much as he enjoys playing. Soon he whips out a PSP and begins to play some variation of the plumber brothers where you can build the map and play through. Although the sound is silent, one can still hear...]

CW slight Agism
Video games...? [Stated in an are you serious tone...
Who does that?! Although, admittingly he knows a few people who immediately come to mind as offenders, but they're not normal! Which means this guy must be sorta like them. Not that it matters. Either way he's annoying, rude and completely ignorant to social etiquette.
Why do people do things like this. Yes he's knows it's not really that big of a deal. But come one dude, you clearly weren't born yesterday! ]
Re: CW slight Agism
I'm sorry, I didn't realize you'd be bothered.
[ The old man gives a sigh and looks at his device. After saving his game, he puts the PSP in his bag. ]
I guess you weren't that involved with the book, huh?
[ He remarks still with a disheartened expression. ]
CW The Road Spoilers
Eyes stay focused on the page as the man chooses to ignore all social ques once more and do the unthinkable.Rude.
Although the book is not something he'd normally read, he was completely immersed in the apocalyptic world. Maybe it's having lived here for just a few days under a year, or his natural inclination to be drawn towards calamity not matter how hard he tries not too. As for the characters, they could be anyone. Their vague nameless description, pulls you in, feeling so invested in thier plight, the reader soon forgets, it's just fiction and not their own twisted fate.]
Why would you say that , after being distracting. Come on, at least take some responsibility for your actions.
Re: CW The Road Spoilers
I'm sorry.
[ He says with a heavy frown. Making an enemy over something trivial isn't worthwhile. He goes to speak again, but stops in fear of bothering the young man further. ]
