Hah? I really don't think the wedding will make a difference. It's not as though this one is arranged and they're still getting to know one another, or they're only just preparing to combine their lives. As they've already been living together for some while, in this case it's more just a ceremony to acknowledge the vows they intend to make to one another, and to give their loved ones a chance to celebrate that.

[This just in, weird new uncle tickled to have a boyfriend at forty and totally chill with boyfriend being allergic to being labeled as such apparently has no problem rattling off the nuances of weddings when called upon.]
