11 . clockhouse rebuilding!
Who: Those who have offered to help rebuild the Clockhouse, and anyone else who'd like to pitch in!
What: An open mingle log to repair after fires and floods.
When: Throughout September, precise dates not specified.
Where: In Gaze, at the forest's edge.
[ When the weather and chaos dies down, work on the Clockhouse picks up. The building was once an old Deerington mansion, luridly green and eccentric; age faded it into half a ruin, and July's fire did the rest. August's flooding came fast and hard, and now there's very little left to salvage.
The first step has been a damage assessment, with volunteers picking through the structurally unstable ruins, finding singed fiction novels, crisped houseplants, and a weird number of melted grandfather clocks. Demolition goes quickly, while Ozpin stands by and does not even try to control the situation.
Volunteers are needed to design the new structure, carry in materials, and build... and then to decorate and enchant what they've created. The few Sleepers with genuine construction experience provide direction, Ozpin sometimes among them, but things are largely chaotic. A few Sleepers provide snacks and cheerleading.
This is a mingle log. Please feel free to make a toplevel, and comment with your character's contributions below! ]

She lifts her hands and spreads her fingers and presumes that that's a good idea. Better to make more mess. (That's not something Wanda's been striving for these days. In fact, it's the opposite.)
"We can do that," she says and smiles at Penny. "Outward. More mess. I think if we make the most mess, we have every right to eat all the food in the kitchen."
Sounds fair, right?

"Agreed! Though we should move fast if we want to get to any cookies before Ruby eats them all."
She's not even slightly joking about that last part.
She neither hesitates nor rushes as she steps back over to the wall, planting her feet and sizing up her opponent. From the little pack mounted to her back (and hidden behind her considerable hair) emerge three hovering devices that unfold into long, slender blades and arrange themselves in a triangle formation. Penny glances to Wanda; once she confirms that the other woman is ready, the blades begin to spin in formation. This, in turn, generates a thin laser, which Penny uses to neatly slice away at the base of the chimney until it finally start to tip over.
"Here it comes!"

Holding her hands up, bright red balls form in the centre of her palms. They grow at a quick pace, emerging as ping pong balls to almost the size of a basketball. The wall and chimney illuminate red as Penny's lasers cut at it—and when it should tip over (an appropriate moment for 'Timber!'), it doesn't.
Wanda holds it with a tilt of her head and a slight twist of her body. It's not the heaviest thing she's ever had to manipulate, but it's one of the trickiest given where they want to plant it.
But as she pulls it towards the mess, some of it disappears, transforming into flowers and butterflies. A few butterflies perch on Penny—the top of her head, her shoulders, and even on her fingers. The rest of the chimney and wall settle gently onto the ground with a small burst of dust emitting beneath it.
