(mostly open) oh this love would kill me

Who: Ange, Ruby, and you!
What: Ruby and Ange's wedding, and all their CR is invited!
When: Late October
Where: The rebuilt Clockhouse

Content Warnings: Semi-irresponsible weapon usage.

Sometime around the beginning of October invitations would have started to be sent out to the various people in Trench Ange and Ruby know - announcing the two girls' wedding at the end of the month.

When the day itself comes, people will find the location - the newly rebuilt Clockhouse, which some of the invitees may have helped rebuild in the first place - tastefully decorated. Some of the house's stranger features have been covered up by decorations in red and gold, mostly taking on the shapes of roses and butterflies all over the place.

"Luz!" She greets her witu a quick hug. "You are looking great yourself, girl! I'd love to a picture. Or multiple pictures! It looks like fun."

Feeling less lethargic at the moment, she's ready to head right into the booth!

"Thanks! I didn't even know they had these around here, did you? We should totally do this and make some fun memories of today!"

Poor Luz had no idea that Scorpia was in the grasp of a lethargy jag. Luz herself was trying to stay positive, as she was starting to notice she was getting snappish and irritated lately. Luckily, a wedding seemed to give her a break from other things that were happening this month!

"I was unaware of this! But yes, it looks like a lot of fun. A good activity for a bunch of super-pals!"

She grins while getting into the booth, leaning down a bit due to her height. "Now how, how do we work this thing."

"Exactly! Also, we can totally remember being here and seeing this marriage! Just so you know, if YOU get married, I'm going to make sure it's just as amazing as this one! You can count on me!"

Luz observed the machine a moment. "Hmm. Maybe I should get in after you? Or should I just go on top of your head? I always forget how cramped these things can be."

"Aw, thanks Luz! I always know I can count on you. I would absolutely want you to be there whenever that day would come. And the same for you, I would be all over helping you with your wedding whenever your day comes!"

She gives a sheepish chuckle as she tries to make a little room for Luz.

"Just scooch on in here, it'll be fine!"

"Heh, of course you can! And thanks, though I'm hoping that that day won't come for a little while! I'm having a pretty good time with how things are right now!"

Relatively, anyway. She was still in Trench after all.

"Ok, I'll just sandwich myself in! Is this all right?"

"Of course! It should only happen the people involved want it to happen. Until then, we can just enjoy things the way they are!"

Scorpia smiles as Luz joins her and nods along. "Yes, that's fine! As long as you're not too uncomfy? Just think of it as a friendship sandwich! Now let's get some nice pictures!"

"Right. But you know, I kinda DO like having one marriage after the other, and both of them are so different! Of course, I figured this would be different anyway, given Ruby's nature!"

That girl was full of spirit Luz slightly envied!

"Heh, me, uncomfortable in a picture with you? I doubt it! Now come on, let's make some pics to remember! And do a funny face if you can!"

Scorpia nods along. "Yep! And I love it!"

And she gets ready to do some poses. "Oh, my face can get funny! You can trust me on that. After that, let's do a tough gal pose!"

"Me too! I'm glad I wound up running into you here!"

Tough gal it is!

"Oh yeah!" Luz intoned, striking a pose.

"Of course, it's been the friendship of a lifetime!"

Striking some more silly poses! "Hooyah!" And she breaks into laughter.

"Let's try to keep it that way too, even if Trench does that thing where it has us sniping at each other."

She didn't love it, but knew it happened sometimes. Honestly, way too often.

"Haha! Ok, ok, now let's do a cute one!"

"Oh definitely. I am never letting this place or anything make me go against you at all!"

Scorpia smiles. "But every one's a cute one!" She gives a gentle pinch to Luz's cheek, but she gets what she means. Time to give her cutest smile to the camera!

Luz looked over at Scorpia and hugged her tight. She knew, of course, that saying that was something that was impossible: sometimes Trench just MADE you do it, and even though you didn't want it to happen, it just did.

But Scorpia saying that honestly did mean a lot to her.

"Thanks. And hey, you got my cheek!"

Luz knew that Scorpia likely had to be extra careful not to pierce her cheek with the pincers, and she was honestly impressed with how well she managed without causing any pain. Also, Luz had always felt Scorpia was like a big sister friend, so this was honestly really cute for her.

"Oh, I'll show you cute!"

Luz looked directly into the camera and did her best doe eyed smile.

A good old-fashioned hug! One of the pictures will probably catch them in the middle of said hug. Scorpia knows this place can make people do horrible things against their will, but she's still determined to fight against it however she can.

She chuckles. "I did! Guess I was feeling a little cheeky. You're just that adorable!"

Fortunately, Scorpia has had a lifetime of practice at controlling the force she puts into her claws. Otherwise she wouldn't be able to hold anyone's hand! Her pinch might just contain more pressure than human fingers would, hut ultimately not harmful.

"Oooh, I'm gonna have to up my cuteness game to catch up with yhe master!" She tilts her head and gives her most innocent smile.

Luz knows this will probably result in a pic with Luz looking squished, and she didn't mind that! She could certainly think of worse pictures than being hugged by Scorpia!

She honestly hoped there wouldn't come a day she had to fight Scorpia though. She never would want to, and Scorpia was STRONG.

"Aw, thanks! You know, you're pretty hunky yourself!"

Cute expressions, sure, but "hunky" definitely fit Scorpia's appearance more.

This is true, and Luz feels very fortunate in that regard.

"Oh, please do!" Luz giggled at the smile, and this time went duck face.

You had to do duckface at least once.

"Thank you!" Scorpia responds with a grin, while flexing a bit!

"Ooh, I've been waiting to make a face like that!" With that, Scorpia leans down closer to Luz's level while unleashing her own duck-face.

Luz couldn't help but get into a fainting stance.

"So majestic!"

Luz nodded, and made sure there were two sets of pictures of them doing the infamous ducks face.

"Ok, ok. Now one where we're just smiling. A 'normal' one!"

Scorpia giggles at their shenanigans. And then she clears her throat and composes herself for the next one.

"Right, right. Normal! Whatever that is, am I right?"

She gives a little chuckle at her own joke, while slinging her arm over Luz's shoulder and giving a simple grin for this picture.

"Oh, one where we're not making silly faces or trying to one up the other!"

Luz laughed, but then settled against Scorpia and gave a wide, happy smile.

"Ok, so here we go!"

"Yeah, I know what you mean!"

And so she smiles as the picture is taken!

[And that was the next one: just a sincere, cute picture of Luz and her good friend Scorpia, snapped so that they had the memory of this awesome day]!

Got it!

[She looked over at the pics and screeched].

They look so good!

[Scorpia cheers as she looks them over.]

Oh gosh, they came out so great! [She carefully takes her copy of the pictures as she looks them over.] I will cherish these. I should put these on the fridge! Or in a scrapbook? There's a lot of possibilities at play here!

I know, right?

[Luz was actually feeling pretty good about being here, getting to see friends of hers getting married, but getting to see Scorpia and share a happy memory with her was just the best]!

Oh yeah, I'm all for more pictures! The Omni can take pictures at least, and I'm sure there's other picture stuff around town. It's definitely something I want to look more into!
