Sometime around the beginning of October invitations would have started to be sent out to the various people in Trench Ange and Ruby know - announcing the two girls' wedding at the end of the month.
When the day itself comes, people will find the location - the newly rebuilt Clockhouse, which some of the invitees may have helped rebuild in the first place - tastefully decorated. Some of the house's stranger features have been covered up by decorations in red and gold, mostly taking on the shapes of roses and butterflies all over the place.

Either way, there's enough to amuse yourself with until it's time to watch the ceremony. There are, after all, enough other people to mingle with. There's already some light food and drinks that have been set out as well, in case you truly need something to make it through the ceremony.
Or maybe you're just curious about some of the.. decor. Not the wedding decorations, mind you, but it's easy to spot something looking a little odd in the Clockhouse. Is that doorknob really shaped like a butt? Who put that awful colour on one of the walls? Why are the stairs down to the basement so creepy?
Or you can always look for either Ange or Ruby, of course! Surely they're around and nervous or excited for this entire thing. .. surely they're somewhere, anyway. Does this house seem like a maze to you?

And also very much freaking out. If you look around, you may find Ange in her room, staring into a mirror, looking very much like she's trying to take deep breaths and not flip out about having to show up in front of a whole lot of people for one of the most important moments in her life in like, maybe half an hour. At least she's already wearing her wedding dress, and her hair is nicely done up, but the nerves - those are very real.
To a point where they actually show up on her face as she looks over at whoever just entered. ]

Mostly because she's been afflicted hard by the drowsiness in her cold blood. She's mostly got herself seated in a chair party way through the house with directions toward the ceremony itself. She's doing her best to stay awake but it's easy to catch her dozed off and snoring loudly.

It's just about her time to walk down the aisle and she sort of weakly wiggles and worms her way along the edge of the chair she's sitting in until she falls face first on the ground. She gives a little grunt and adjusts herself so that her hands are planted firmly on the ground and starts to work at doing push ups. Ever so slowly she feels the blood in her start to pump up and the energy return to her body.]
You're the best, around.
No one's ever going to keep you down.
[A few seconds later and she's on her feet. Her Uncle Qrow is there and she's taken his arm. She is now walking down that aisle with a determined yet friendly face as she passes by friends and loved ones to the spot where she'll wait for Ange to arrive.
...And breaking from tradition. She will drop down to the ground and keep doing push ups to keep herself alive until that happens.]

AFTER PARTY
For example, there's a.. photobooth? Yes, a regular photobooth you can snap cute pictures in with your friends. It's actually functioning. (Don't let Ange know it's here.)
Or if you want something even a little bit more active than that, there's an axe throwing activity set up. With actual axes. Thankfully they're not meant to be thrown at any living being. Instead a bunch of training dummies have been set up, dressed up to look like.. is that Mother Mercy?
Huh.
For those who enjoy something a little more lowkey, there's also an area set up in a slightly more quiet corner where one can sit down and just enjoy some calming tea. There's also a selection of books to enjoy alongside them! Because surely no one wants to actually talk at a party, right. Please. Just don't mind the occasional stray axe that may land over in this area from the other activity.

But it's not like she's going to ditch the after party of her own wedding. She's not that bad. Mostly.
Though it's the easiest to find Ange over in the more quiet corner. Of course she's the one who thought up the quiet tea party corner. Ange knew she'd need it in the middle of all the chaos. It's not easy to sit down with her poofy wedding dress, but you know what? She's making it work. Somehow. Don't ask how these physics work.
The most notable thing about the girl though may be the fact that she's looking entirely unbothered for once. Sure, she's at a party, and sure, part of said party may be ridiculous, but she just married the girl of her dreams.
It may be why she doesn't even blink as, while you approach her, an axe flies over, knocking one of the teacups straight off the table. Ange just glances at you, waving off the entire thing with one hand. ]
It happens. Come sit down.

The second is the one that thrives on chaos and energy. She is the one who insisted on having axe throwing at the wedding and she is all about hurling those things at the Mother Mercy shaped targets set up.]

[And third is sort of the middle ground of the two. She's pleasantly happy and sort of taking a chance to mingle or dance where she can. She's got a goofy grin on her face and it looks like she's a little start struck or can't believe it's finally happened. Probably the easiest Ruby to approach in the evening.]

Predictably he can most often be found lurking around the snacks or, subsequently, settled in at one of the small tables scattered around with a cup of tea and a plate piled high with macarons. At some point someone outs him as someone who theoretically understands ballroom dancing. He'll allow himself to be pulled onto the floor for such with a warning that he'll absolutely step on his partners because he's terrible -- but he does know the steps perfectly well even if he can't fall into rhythm with others for crap, and can also be persuaded to teach anyone who'd like to learn off in a corner somewhere. Given that he's close with the brides, he'll be present for the whole reception and stick around to help with the tidying up after, loosened up into his usual carelessness.
But, Break is an introvert at his core, and he gets through the party by being strategic about finding moments to slink away and recharge. If he's not feeling adverse to company entirely, though, he lingers in the quiet corner with the books and the tea. Even with a book on his lap, however, he never actually gets around to reading anything. Instead the facade falls somewhat, and he stares over his cup at the shelves without really seeing them. It's the sort of day where everything he's lost and everything he's gained feel equally heavy -- when the experience of trying not to weep openly as The Nieces get married has his heart giddy, but at the same time, only emphasizes the void of knowing he'll never be there for Sharon Rainsworth's.]

That seems not to apply during the afterparty. She can be found mingling with the other guests, her shrill and distinctive cackle ringing out as she enjoys a joke or finds some anecdote particularly amusing. She avoids the axe throwing, if only because being near Ange with a weapon is likely to be asking for trouble.
She is a Witch, so of course she loves tea! Later on once she's had her fill of wine, she can be found sitting in the quiet corner, sipping on a cup of tea and perusing the books. ]

He spends a lot of time at the axe throwing station. The dummies get a bit of an odd look. He wasn't Mother Superior's biggest fan back in Deerington, but he's also never been one to hold a grudge, and that was a while ago. He doesn't really think about Mother Mercy at all, to be quite honest.
But he also doesn't care about this enough to not nail a bunch of training dummies with axes! His aim is very good; he's pretty much aiming for the face area, and that's what he hits!]

Oscar (OTA)
Many of their friends were absent and would be remembered fondly, but there were many more stepping in to carve out space of their own-- and it was exciting.
Oscar was ordinarily an introvert that preferred wearing his soft, loose layers when he wasn't prepping for the possibility of combat, but he kept his smart looking coat on and his hair neatly tied back to enjoy the festivities that night. The axe throwing was even attended to with an odd curiosity and excitement from the boy, and as always he was eager to talk books over tea with anyone interested.
He would slip outside as the night went on to get a little bit of quiet in the cool night air, but he would quickly return.
This was Ruby and Ange's day, and he wanted it to go as smoothly as possible. ]

He can also be found trying to squeeze into the photobooth or chucking axes at targets, with varying degrees of success. And towards the end of everything, he's probably sprawled on a couch in the quiet corner taking a load off and just enjoying a bit of peace.

She's behind some of the decor, she's worked hard to make sure things were perfect for Ruby and Ange. Namely, the little red and gold sparkles and petals that rain from the ceiling overhead, before dissolving into thin air before they hit the floor. For the most part, she is just making sure things are running smoothly. Even with her frustration and gloom kept under control (there's not a single raincloud above her head to be seen today), she still has the stubbornness to ensure things are going to plan. That people are happy, that the charms are behaving themselves.
However, she will definitely be found wandering about the food eyeing up the desserts. Or she might be persuaded to throw a few axes, albeit she'll be throwing them by enchanting them into the air and hurling them towards the dummies of Mother Mercy with gusto, considering she's not very good at hurling them herself. Is that cheating? It might be cheating. And of course, she is absolutely delighted by the photobooth. She that once in Deerington and she will be very excited to do it again, pulling someone towards it with a beaming smile. ]

She's dressed in an elegant little black cocktail dress that shows off more leg and chest than is reasonable, and while she isn't lurking in the quiet corner, she takes to the axe throwing with gusto, laughing maniacally as she lands one toss after another. It's a good way of making sure nobody notices how much emotion showed on her face during the ceremony.
Or you might just spot her piling on a frankly alarming amount of food onto her plate at the snack table! She's not starting many conversations, but she won't turn anybody away either. ]

These pendants are a pair of homing devices. Focus on one and it'll start to glow, brighter when you're facing the right direction and dimmer when you're facing away.
Ange: I made sure the rose wouldn't interact with any form of Darkblood magic, so it shouldn't interfere with any of your spellcraft.
Ruby: I enchanted the butterfly to be especially resistant to heat and cold, so your Aura won't damage it.

I've known Ange and Ruby since before Trench.

They're some of the best people I've met, in the waking world, in the dream... Anywhere. I'm proud to call them friends. But I'm even more proud of them for taking this step forward. Not everyone can find someone who complements them. And even fewer can hang onto them, make things work out, in a place like this that tests us all constantly with our fears, our doubts, and the pieces of us we'd rather no one ever heard or saw.
But Ange and Ruby have managed it and managed it well.
This step forward is something they should both be proud of. I know I am.

[anna's here, in the suit that madame generosity had given her at the beginning of the year, looking fresh and clean and with her hair pinned back, out of her face. it's a new-ish look for her, but it was better than showing up in her normal, messy clothes. it's an important day. and she prepared the way she looks way better than she prepared her words.]
I didn't know Ruby or Ange before last September, but I know that both of them have been through absolute hell together. I mean, we all have, right? But one of the most important things that Ange ever taught me was that... you're never going to get anywhere if you spend all your time closing yourself off from other people. And I know that the hell that these two have been through together has been made so much easier because they have each other.
[she looks out in the crowd to find her girlfriend, and she smiles at kainé.]
It's because of Ange that I really learned that no matter what I'm going through, it's never a good idea to put up walls and close myself off from others. Oh, it's the easy thing to do, and I think most people here know what that did to me. But it's not the right answer, in the long run, and it's just going to make you more miserable in the end. So... I know it's a weird way to get to it, but here's to the two of you. [she raises a glass in ange's direction.] To Ange Ushiromiya-Rose, the best little sister a girl could ask for. And to Ruby Rose-Ushiromiya, who is also pretty cool.
