Sometime around the beginning of October invitations would have started to be sent out to the various people in Trench Ange and Ruby know - announcing the two girls' wedding at the end of the month.

When the day itself comes, people will find the location - the newly rebuilt Clockhouse, which some of the invitees may have helped rebuild in the first place - tastefully decorated. Some of the house's stranger features have been covered up by decorations in red and gold, mostly taking on the shapes of roses and butterflies all over the place.

Just dropping in to say break a leg, kiddo.

[Not "good luck", which feels a little too cursed for him specifically to say on this extremely important day. For his own part, he looks significantly less scruffy than typical, with his hair properly tamed and even a nice suit on--one might even go so far as to say he looks bordering on elegant.]

[Tai isn't here and neither is Ange's dad, it's his and Break's job to be embarrassingly proud and hype about the whole process in their place, okay.]

[ Ange definitely stares for a moment when he enters the room like that. It's just so.. different to see Qrow like this, especially when she's used to him having some sort of scruffy goth raccoon aesthetic about him most of the time.

Not even a bad kind of aesthetic, but it's just so different from seeing him in a suit and with his hair actually being done properly that it does make her pause for a moment.

.. until that question hits her, anyway, making her look a tad shy in a way she truly can't hide today of all days.

Today truly is just an openly soft Ange day. ]

No. Are we.. supposed to? [ Look, it's hard when you're stuck in the moment and super nervous about it to think about the fact you may want to remember all of this much later on. ]

I'm kind of worried about looking dumb.

[ Even though Qrow said she looks amazing. But what if she'd look dumb on the photo anyway?! ]

["Supposed to", she says, as though Qrow (or Ruby for that matter) have ever given a singular fuck about things one is Supposed To Do Properly in their entire lives. Qrow's never even been to a real wedding--Tai had never done any big ceremony when he was with Raven or Summer, after all. He gives her a little teasing nudge in the arm, which seems to safest way to do so without ruining her entire look today.]

It's your wedding, kiddo. You're supposed to do whatever the hell you and Ruby want. The only thing that'd be dumb is worrying what anyone else thinks about it.

At least it's not like he isn't making a valid point here - even if it's a point that Ange has slight of a hard time dealing with. For all that she likes to pretend that she doesn't care about what other people think, it's not like it's entirely true. Sure, Ange doesn't care as much about the opinions of strangers, but there's going to be so many people she likes and cares about here.

The last thing she wants to do is look dumb in front of them, considering she cares about their opinions.

And while it is openly soft Ange day, saying that out loud does feel just a tad too embarrassing.. so instead the girl pouts, before adding: ]
