Sometime around the beginning of October invitations would have started to be sent out to the various people in Trench Ange and Ruby know - announcing the two girls' wedding at the end of the month.

When the day itself comes, people will find the location - the newly rebuilt Clockhouse, which some of the invitees may have helped rebuild in the first place - tastefully decorated. Some of the house's stranger features have been covered up by decorations in red and gold, mostly taking on the shapes of roses and butterflies all over the place.

[Ruby's eyes flutter open gently when she feels the little weight land on her head. But any thought of finding out what it was is dashed when she sees the cookie in front of her nose.

She makes a sound that's somewhere between a whine and a squeal and her hands slowly but with purpose reach up to try and get it.]

C-Cookie...

[Yes, cookie. Phase 1 of his genius plan is complete. Just as she reaches for it, he flutters just out of reach. should she try again, the same thing will happen.

Time to get that heart pumping, Ruby...! Wakey wakey, Cookie Chase: Wedding Edition has begun.]

[Ruby grumbles a little as her first weak attempt to grab the cookie fails. She almost stumbles out of her chair with the second attempt but manages to stay a food.

She realizes this bird is playing games with her and she never takes the taste of cookies lightly.

With more determination she rises to her feet and makes another grab for it. She's still sluggish and tired but the plan is working!!!!]

[Excellent, excellent ... all is proceeding as it should.

This time, when Ruby tries to make a grab, he flies up -- but only just a bit. A certain semblance might be able to reach.

And if that brings them just the slightest bit closer to the hall where the ceremony will be conducted, well, that's just a bonus, right?]

[Ruby is falling right into the trap. Her arm outstretched as she tries to reach for the cookie. When the bird takes flight she gives a determined look and she tries to activate her semblance to get going at it.

Except in her more tired and lethargic state there is a couple moments where it putters in and out as she turns into rose petals and then back to herself a few times before she awkwardly hops skips a jumps to try and reach it.

She's uh- She's getting there.]

[Oop. The bird seems to hesitate when her semblance flags, as though unsure whether it should fly toward her or stay the course, but then she improvises that landing strategy and goes after him again. Whew. Wouldn't want her ruining her dress on her wedding anymore than sleeping through it.

Once he's sure she's got her bearings, he's just going to fly back toward the ceremony hall again. Maybe a little more quickly than last time. Gotta go fast, Ruby...!! Cookies depend on it.]
