(mostly open) oh this love would kill me

Who: Ange, Ruby, and you!
What: Ruby and Ange's wedding, and all their CR is invited!
When: Late October
Where: The rebuilt Clockhouse

Content Warnings: Semi-irresponsible weapon usage.

Sometime around the beginning of October invitations would have started to be sent out to the various people in Trench Ange and Ruby know - announcing the two girls' wedding at the end of the month.

When the day itself comes, people will find the location - the newly rebuilt Clockhouse, which some of the invitees may have helped rebuild in the first place - tastefully decorated. Some of the house's stranger features have been covered up by decorations in red and gold, mostly taking on the shapes of roses and butterflies all over the place.

Poor Willow. There was clearly a lot going on there, and Luz didn't want to push to what that was. Not only was it not her place, she imagined if things had gotten bad with her and Willow on one end, it was bound to have gotten worse with people Willow knew intimately.

"I'm still learning a little myself, but that's more through my glyphs. I hate to admit this but...I'm not sure sometimes I can trust the magic on my paleblood side. Sometimes it brings out things I'm not ready to deal with, or even know how to, you know? But maybe that's just me."

Luz hadn't exactly voiced this concern to anyone, but she figured if anyone would understand, it would be Willow.

It's far easier to focus on Luz's concerns with her own magic, and Willow nods in understanding. Blood magic can be difficult at the best of times. Her own seems to be focused mostly on dreamwalking, which she's put a fair amount of work into harnessing as an alternative to sleep. Just now she recognizes that sleeplessness can be a sign of Corruption as well.

"Blood magic at home was always considered pretty dangerous territory. I mean, it's totally normal here, but it makes sense to me that, especially since this world has a pretty strong effect on all of us too, that you're going to end up dealing with some things that you're not prepared to. It's important to be careful, and not push yourself too far too fast."

Luz hadn't even wanted to try not sleeping. It was hard enough going to sleep when you have past memories in your head, and how that translated into your subconscious when you were dreaming.

Additionally, she didn't want to risk corruption either. Once was enough.

"I wasn't going to," Luz said, though she did wince slightly. She and Scorpia DID go astral projecting very far only a month or so back.

"Anymore."
