[It stings, the contempt that comes from Gideon of all people. Her eyes are cold, her voice is cold, her body is - cold. She's shoving Faith off to the side, having embraced being the only child, the only fighter he has left.

That sting turns into anger quickly. She was trying to help, and unlike everyone else, she's not just going to sit back and take it. She's not being the second fiddle again.
