It takes this Shen Yuan back to his first life, when he didn't have to worry about anything. [At least, not anything really important.] And Huaisang-di's bird pictures really are cute. It makes this one happy to see them, truly.

This Shen Yuan is sorry for speaking so harshly to Nie Huaisang, when we first met and later, when he was worried for Jin Guangyao. This one understands better now that Nie Huaisang isn't so good at has his own way of handling a crisis, and perhaps feels stress more keenly than some people, but that doesn't mean Nie Huaisang is a bad person to know. This one feels fortunate to have Nie-gongzi in his life.

This is the third world I've lived in, A-Sang. The first was very different from what you're used to (though like I said in another post, we at least didn't have monsters) but the second was close enough that I was able to learn cultivation and other useful skills. And now I can use that knowledge to help you and your brothers adapt to Trench! So really, we're all quite lucky to have met, monsters and moving buildings aside.

So far as the other worlds go, Lan Xichen found it easier to think of each world like a book, and we're like characters who have moved from one book to another. I've lived in three books, while you've just lived in two. Does that help at all?

Honestly I kind of liked it...squids don't feel anxiety, or qi deviations.

No, this one has been mostly content. Besides, to wake up from that daydream would make it worse to live in the real world, I should think! I would be too afraid of being unhappy forever.

Mm, I wouldn't say I was dissatisfied, back then. More...listless. Nobody ever placed any expectations on me, so I never learned to expect anything of myself. I just sort of drifted through life.

I don't have any serious negative memories of that time, but I also don't have many positive ones either, you know?
